Aitek Innovation Summit 2026: An Edition That Confirms the Event's Growing Scale

2,572 attendees, 50 speakers, 22 partners: a look back in numbers at the 2nd edition of the Aitek Innovation Summit, held October 2 in Abidjan around artificial intelligence and its impact.

Aitek Innovation Summit 2026

On October 2, AITEK brought together 2,572 attendees at the group's headquarters in Abidjan for the 2nd edition of the Aitek Innovation Summit, a full day dedicated to artificial intelligence and its impact on digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, and organizational transformation.

Themed "From Artificial Intelligence to Impact," this edition brought together public-sector decision-makers, CIOs, CISOs, vendors, integrators, entrepreneurs, and investors around a shared observation: AI is now redefining how organizations produce, protect, and decide.

The Edition in Numbers

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the day was structured around 5 major panel discussions in the conference room, 14 masterclasses and workshops (7 masterclasses, 6 workshops, and 1 executive workshop), and an exhibition space featuring 20 exhibitors across four zones — IT, Cloud and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and AI and Data.

More than 50 expert speakers, including 25 panelists, took the stage. Based on estimates drawn from the registration database, roughly 36% of attendees — close to 926 people — held decision-making or recommending roles: general management, CIOs, CISOs, and business unit heads. More than 20 countries were represented, spanning West and Central Africa, the Maghreb, Europe, China, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates.

A High-Level Institutional Opening

The event opened with remarks from Dr. Redda Ben Geloune, Chairman and CEO and founder of AITEK Group; H.E. Amadou Coulibaly, Minister of Communication and Government Spokesperson; and H.E. Othman El Ferdaous, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Côte d'Ivoire.

The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Magida Karaki, Ambassador of Lebanon to Côte d'Ivoire, along with representatives from the embassies of Tunisia and France. Several institutions and business organizations were also represented, including the Ministry of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, ANSUT, ANSSI, ARTCI, CGECI, Eurocham, and the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Côte d'Ivoire.

A Broad Audience at the Heart of the Digital Ecosystem

The audience reflected the diversity of the region's digital ecosystem: public sector and institutions, banking and insurance, telecoms and fintech, energy, industry and transport, international organizations, and media. Organizations represented included the Presidency of the Republic, several ministries, major banks and insurance companies, telecom operators and fintechs, as well as national and international media outlets.

An Event Backed by 22 Partners

This edition brought together 22 partners and institutions across six tiers: institutional backing from the Ministry of Communication and the Ministry of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, partner institutions (ANSSI Côte d'Ivoire, ANSUT), two Platinum partners (HP, Kaspersky), seven Gold partners (Gatewatcher, Epson, Orange Cloud & Cyber Solutions, Canon, NERION, AB Soft Work, 3R Technologie), seven Silver partners (WALLIX, Burinfort, ATM Informatique, APC, SaH Analytics, Club DSI Côte d'Ivoire, Mstudio), and two strategic partners (Siemens-Altair, Afristorm).

What's Next

Following a first edition in 2024, this 2nd edition confirms the Aitek Innovation Summit's growing standing as a reference event for the digital ecosystem in West Africa. AITEK thanks all the speakers, partners, and attendees who made this day a success, and already looks forward to the next edition.
